How long we retain your data

Any information supplied as part of an enquiry is destroyed immediately once it is determined the enquiry is complete.

For any enquiries that proceed to pupil status we will retain information in a number of ways until the relationship has been completed.

TotalDrive – This app is where we keep details that we need on an ongoing basis to provide lessons. For example, address, contact information, lesson appointments and learning progress. The pupil can delete this at any time of their choosing. If they do not delete it then it will be deleted within 1 month from when it is determined that the relationship between pupil and us is at an end.  For example, pupil passes driving test. We will keep information if a pupil has indicated they are pausing their relationship with us. This will be possible for a maximum of 6 months. If pupil has not been back in contact then information will be deleted. We reserve the right to delete this information at any time within the 6 months, if we consider it appropriate. 

Theory Test Pro – this is software that we make available for pupils to help them pass their driving theory test. A pupil will be removed from it within 1 month of passing their theory test unless agreed with us that they feel continued access would be beneficial to them. Pupils will also have their data deleted if they have not used the service for 1 month.

Written lesson notes – these will be destroyed within 1 month of a test pass. They will also be destroyed if a pupil takes a break and does not return within 6 months.
